The vehicle number plate is linked to a bank card (accepted on the Mastercard, Visa or Maestro networks). Whenever the vehicle passes a toll reader, the toll fees are later directly debited from the account linked to the bank card.

After the card is activated, the purchased value is assigned to an account linked to the vehicle number plate and when passing a toll reader, the respective toll will be debited from the balance available on the card.

The validity of the card is printed on it and the balance is valid for 1 year after being activated.

The balance of each activated card can be accumulated with the available valid balance for other cards that have been activated for the same number plate.

With Via Verde electronic device, tolls are debited directly from the customer’s bank account, without any additional administrative fees.

This device is valid for paying tolls on all highways, including those that have exclusively electronicl systems, as well as the traditional systems. Also Via Verde customers can use the lane reserved exclusively for this service.

Currently, all Via-T devices and some French devices are accepted on the national highway network, both for exclusively electronic systems as well as traditional toll barriers, where they can be used in the lanes reserved for Via Verde customers.
